When is drive-in the right rack type?

Drive-in fits large lots with few products. Selective teardrop rack serves mixed products, pushback stores two to six deep on a last-in, first-out basis, and pallet flow gives dated stock first-in, first-out rotation.

How many pallet positions can drive-in hold?

Usable clear height, aisle width and forklift reach determine the count, with lot sizes determining lane depth. We compare the positions on a free CAD layout before you purchase.

Do you arrange drive-in rack installation?

Yes. We design and supply the new system, then use experienced installation crews we schedule and manage. Frames are anchored to the floor, and rails are placed and checked against the drawing.

Old plants have column grids that do not always suit selective rows. In a reused plant at Comstock Township's Midlink Business Park or a legacy building in Dowagiac, drive-in blocks can fill odd bays between columns where an aisle would not fit.

Bulk raw material for food processing and packaging also stores well in drive-in close to the line.

Forklift Fit and Lane Width

Lane width is set by your truck's overall width and mast, plus clearance on each side. We measure the truck, not just the brochure. Operators need to drive straight in and back out, so guide rails at the floor are standard.

Drive-in is last in, first out. If you need first-in, first-out with the same density, look at drive-through or pallet flow.
